Community Bank of the Chesapeake is proud to partner with the United Way to help support local communities. Throughout the fall, Community Bank employees participated in the organization's annual Day of Caring events in Southern Maryland and Virginia.
"Involvement in the Day of Caring has become a much-loved tradition here at Community Bank," said William Pasenelli, President and Chief Executive Officer of Community Bank of the Chesapeake. "Our employees look forward to giving back each year and supporting the United Way and the causes they help in the community."
This year, Community Bank employees volunteered at several different organizations, including the Arc of Southern Maryland, Health Partners in Charles County and the Rappahannock YMCA. Led by a team captain, participants were tasked with everything from gardening and landscaping to building a haunted house.
The United Way Day of Caring is an annual, community-wide event benefitting several deserving nonprofits. Each year, the Day of Caring brings together generous individuals under the common mission of creating positive change in the lives of children, families and seniors in the community.
